Our Board is responsible for the overall governance, management and strategic direction of the AFICO group.

The Board’s principal objective is to maintain and increase shareholder value while ensuring the overall activities of the AFICO Group are managed properly.

The Board’s role is to represent and serve the interests of shareholders by overseeing and appraising the Group’s strategy, policies and performance.

Each Director works in accordance with the Board Charter, which outlines their powers, their responsibilities and how they can best represent the interests of our shareholders.

Brad Dale
BCom (UNSW),GAICD
Executive Chairman & Director

Mr Dale is the Executive Chairman of AFICO Pty Ltd and Chairman and a Director of all AFICO subsidiaries, as well as Director of a number of family owned companies.

Mr Dale has considerable experience in the Financial Services industry and has specialised in consumer and asset finance since 1990.

Mr Dale is a Responsible Manager for the Group’s consumer credit business, Automotive FInancial Services Pty Limited ACN 003 622 375 that holds credit licence (Australian credit licence 383762) and the group's insurance business, Australian Insurance Corporation Pty Limited ACN 082 812 619 that holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 309889).

Mr Dale is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds the office of Justice of the Peace.

In addition, Mr Dale was a Director of the Board of the Australian Finance Industry Association Limited (AFIA)(previously known as the Australian Finance Conference Limited (AFC)), Australia’s national finance industry association, between 2007 and 2018, and was also was a member of its Executive Committee and Chairman of the AFC Board in 2008/09.

Ian Dale

Non-Executive Director

Mr Dale is an Director of AFICO Pty Ltd, a Director of all AFICO subsidiaries, including AFS, as well as Director of a number of family owned companies.

Mr Dale has had a well-recognised and successful career in the finance and automotive industries for over 40 years.

During this time he held many senior positions at Australian Guarantee Corporation Limited, including General Manager for NSW, Victoria and various ASEAN countries. He was also a member of AGC’s Executive Management Committee.

Mr Dale was also Chief Executive Officer of the Ford Motor Company Sydney Retail Joint Venture (RJV) in 2000.

Mr Dale is an active member of the Royal Motor Yacht Club of NSW and currently holds the office of Rear Commodore.

Garry Zogbi
AGIA
Executive Director

Mr Zogbi is a Director of AFICO Pty Ltd and each of its subsidiaries companies, including Automotive Financial Services, and has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.

Mr. Zogbi has been involved in the financial services industry for the past 30 years and has held the senior positions in AGC, GE Capital, Once Credit.

Garry is a previous shareholder and Executive Director of AFICO Pty Ltd, where he also held the position of Managing Director of the direct channel business, Oz Credit, and the prime auto loan business, United Financial Services Capital, that originated auto loans into the Allco Mobius W-01 Trust.

The roles held at each credit provider included both sales and risk responsibilities and policy formulation.

Mr. Zogbi is currently Chair of the Group's Credit & Risk Committee and also holds the office of Justice of the Peace.

Rita Bolton
Company Secretary

Rita was appointed as AFICO's Company Secretary in 2015.

Having commence with the group in 1996, Rita has significant finance and management experience and currently holds the role of Group Finance Manager.

Rita is responsible for AFICO's finance and treasury functions, including liquidity and capital management, asset management and  finance reporting.

In her role as Company Secretary, Rita is responsible for the efficient administration of AFICO and its subsidiaries, particularly with regard to statutory and regulatory requirements.
